Who we are

D-Cubed Educational Solutions and Consulting Limited (“D-Cubed”, “we”, “us”) is an education consultancy registered in Nigeria, with its office at Plot A, KM 3, Olusegun Obasanjo Way, Iwo Road, Osogbo, Osun State. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

We collect only what we need in order to help you:

• Information you send us. When you submit a form on this site we receive your name, email address, and any phone number, location, organisation, child’s age or message you choose to provide.
• Information you give us during an engagement. If you become a client, this may include assessment records, school reports and developmental information about your child.
• Basic technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server data such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability. We do not use this to identify you.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry — on the basis of the steps you have asked us to take before entering a contract.
• To deliver our services — on the basis of our contract with you.
• To keep proper professional records — on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining accurate records of advice given, and any legal obligation to retain them.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with schools or any other third party for marketing purposes.

Children’s information

Much of our work concerns children, and we treat information about them with particular care. We collect information about a child only from a parent or legal guardian, or from a school acting with parental consent. Assessment findings are shared only with the people the parent or guardian has told us to share them with. A parent or guardian may withdraw consent and ask us to delete a child’s records at any time, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.

Who else handles your information

We keep the number of third parties to a minimum. The ones we do rely on are:

• Web3Forms — processes submissions from the forms on this site and delivers them to us by email.
• Cloudflare — hosts this website and serves it securely.

Each of these processes information on our instructions. Some may store data outside Nigeria; where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection applies.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months. Client records, including assessment reports, are retained for as long as is professionally appropriate and then securely destroyed. You may ask us to delete your information sooner.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not run third-party analytics that profile you across other websites. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have information deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent where our use relies on it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Where the change is significant, we will say so clearly on the site.
