Start with the child, not the school
Everything we recommend starts from the child in front of us: their pace, their temperament, how they take information in. A school that is excellent for one child can be quite wrong for the next one.
About us
D-Cubed Educational Solutions and Consulting Limited is an early childhood and elementary education consultancy. We work with parents choosing schools, with teachers who want to do right by young children, and with school leaders trying to build something that outlasts them.
Why we exist
Two things kept coming up in our work. After a while it became obvious they were the same problem, seen from opposite ends.
The first is a family who did everything right. They researched, they saved, they got their child into a school everybody speaks well of. And the child is still unhappy, still falling behind, still being described by teachers as difficult. There was nothing wrong with the school. It was just built for a different kind of learner.
The second is a good teacher standing in front of twenty-five under-sevens, working from training that was designed for secondary classrooms. They aren’t short of effort. They’re short of methods that suit how young children learn.
D-Cubed sits in the gap between those two. We help parents make placement decisions based on evidence instead of reputation, and we train the teachers and school leaders on the other side of that decision to be worth choosing.
How we work
Not aspirations. These are the rules we work by, and you’re entitled to hold us to them.
Everything we recommend starts from the child in front of us: their pace, their temperament, how they take information in. A school that is excellent for one child can be quite wrong for the next one.
We take no commission, referral fee or kickback from any school. Families pay us for advice, so families are the only people we owe anything to. Nothing else about how we work matters as much as this does.
Signboards, prize-day photographs and word of mouth tell you almost nothing about what happens in a classroom on an ordinary Tuesday. We look at structure, staffing, assessment practice and the learning environment itself.
A report you need a specialist to explain hasn’t helped you. We write so that a parent and a class teacher can both read the same page and come away understanding the same thing.
The first eight years lay the foundation for everything after them. Teaching that age group well is a real professional skill, and the people doing it deserve proper training instead of being left to improvise.
Schools that lean on two or three exceptional teachers lose their quality the day those teachers leave. We help build the systems that hold standards steady through staff turnover.
Find us
Our office is in Osun State, but the work isn’t. We travel for school training and audits, and where distance makes an in-person session impractical we can run consultations and assessments virtually.
Tell us about your child, your classroom or your school. The first conversation is free, and if we’re not the right people to help you, we’ll tell you that.
